Tribal Resolution #459-2008-03 was enacted on March 10, 2008, authorizing convening a Constitutional Convention to consider possible amendments which would address evolving government responsibilities, changing economic conditions, and to meet the existing and future needs of the Tribes.

The Constitutional Convention will be held at the Greet the Dawn auditorium, in Poplar, on the following dates:
July 7 – 10, 2008  6 p.m 1st Session
Legislative, Judicial, Executive Committee Sessions
July 20 – 23, 2008 2nd Session
Joint Approval of Proposed Amendments to be
submitted for the General Tribal Election to be held on October, 24, 2009
