
The Fort Peck Reservation is home to two separate Indian nations, each composed of numerous bands and divisions.
The Sioux divisions of Sisseton, Wahpetons, the Yanktonais, and the Teton Hunkpapa are all represented.
The Assiniboine bands of Canoe Paddler and Red Bottom are represented.
The Reservation is located in the extreme
northeast corner of Montana, on the north side of the Missouri
River.

The Turtle Mound Buffalo Ranch is located twenty five miles northeast of Poplar, Montana. The buffalo herd was reintroduced to our area in 1999. Currently, there are 200 head in the buffalo herd.
Heifers (Females):
2 & 3 year old heifers (weighs 600-800 lbs)
Live Weight = $650 each
Dry cows (weighs 900-1,100 lbs) Live Weight = $900 each
Bulls (Males):
2 & 3 year old bulls (weighs 600-800 lbs) Live Weight = $650 each
4 yr old bulls (weighs 1,000-1,200 lbs) = $1,200 each
5 years and up (weighs 1500-2200 lbs) Currently have 3 - 5 yr.
olds = $1,500.00 each
Trophy bulls for mounting (good for burger and mounting
) Currently have 3 - 8 yr. olds @ $3,500.00 each and
2 - 12 year olds @ $5,000
each
