As you navigate through our website, you will find out what this program is all about. The mission of the HPDP Wellness Program is to restore the traditional values of the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes, and to help our communities return to a healthier lifestyle.

This program helps to provide increase in access to Mental, Physical, & Spiritual Health along with focusing on the Health of our Communities. Each part is vital to the whole. And through each part we are looking to our past for the values and traditions that provided a healthy lifestyle and place to live.

We have created various partnerships with major universities to assist with health disparities. One of these programs is the Harvard University Summer High School Program in which select high school students get to spend several weeks on the Harvard campus taking classes and working on health issues effecting their community. Like ‘The Meth Project’ a presentation on the hazards and effects of using meth-amphetamines.
